Telephone Banking

Enjoy access to your banking information anywhere, anytime. Need to know your balance right away? Simply call and make sure you have the funds you need to make a purchase. By pressing the buttons on your phone you can do your banking at your convenience.

 

With Telephone Banking, you can:

  • Obtain your account balance(s) and account transaction history
  • Transfer funds between accounts
  • Report lost or stolen ABM cards
  • Obtain interest rates on products
  • Obtain foreign exchange rates
  • Obtain joint account history
  • Transfer funds to and from joint accounts
  • Pay bills
  • Access MasterCard®, and Qtrade Investor

Using Telephone Banking *

Follow these 6 easy steps:

  1. Call us: 613.560.0100 , 416.252.5621 or 1.877.560.0100.
  2. Say “Telephone Banking” or dial ext. 6961. In the Greater Toronto Area, follow the recorded instructions.
  3. Select your language of choice.
  4. Enter your portfolio number.(The portfolio number used to be called “Member Number” or “Account Number”).
  5. Enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN).
    The first time you call, you will be asked to choose a personalized PIN between 4 and 12 digits. Obtain your temporary PIN by calling the TeleService Centre at 416.252.5621, 613.560.0100 or 1.877.560.0100 or by visiting your branch.
  6. Listen and follow the prompts.
