Want access to your money, when and where you need it? Your Alterna access card gives you convenient access to Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) for cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers and balance inquiries on your Alterna Savings accounts.

With nearly 100 Alterna ABMs in Ontario and Western Quebec, Alterna provides you with easy access to your money. You can make cash withdrawals, with deposit, transfers and account balances available at most machines.

ABM access across Canada
 | Alterna cardholders have access to over 2,100 surcharge-free ABMs across Canada with The EXCHANGE® Network. There are 500 in Ontario alone. You can withdraw cash and make deposits. Just look for The EXCHANGE® Network logo. |
 | And, if one of these options is not nearby, your Alterna access card can also be used at any ABM in Canada connected to the Interac® network.

What’s a surcharge?
A surcharge (or convenience fee) is a fee that the owner of the ABM charges to a user. In Canada, ABMs that surcharge present a disclosure screen that appears before completing the transaction. This surcharge is not an Alterna Savings fee and Alterna Savings does not collect any portion of the surcharge.
