Alterna extends partnership with CHFT and celebrates 25 years of working together to address Ontario's housing crisis

Alterna Savings has renewed its commitment with the Co-operative Housing Federation of Toronto (CHFT) for another three years. This 25-year-old partnership between CHFT and Alterna positions the credit union as one of the first financial institutions to provide dedicated support to Ontario's co-op housing sector, improving the affordability of housing in Ontario.

Alterna Supports Carleton U Students With Two Annual Scholarships


Alterna continues its partnership with Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business by awarding the Alterna Savings Scholarship and the Alterna Bank Scholarship to two undergraduate students. This year’s recipients were Andrew Kerr and Tony Phan, who are both students in the Bachelor of Commerce program.
