To access online and mobile banking, please follow the one-time authentication process below: 

  1. CLICK HERE to access online banking OR download the Alterna mobile app via the Google Play store or Apple App store.
  2. Click Register to log in to register for digital banking access
  3. Enter your account/member number
  4. Confirm your contact details
  5. Choose a secure, unique password
  6. Accept the Online Access Terms and Conditions Agreement

    Once you have completed the process above, you can access online and mobile banking with your login ID (member number) and password.

    To access online and mobile banking, you'll need to have an up-to-date mobile phone number or email address on file. If you need assistance, please call our Contact Centre at 1.877.560.0100.

    We are pleased to announce that Quinte First members will soon move to Alterna's 
    Savings banking system. This means you will gain access to over 40 new products and service offerings, including new chequing and savings accounts, banking packages, term deposits, credit solutions, mortgages, and so much more!

    You will have greater flexibility in your banking options and convenient access to services through our new online and mobile banking platforms, making accessing your accounts digitally easier than ever. In addition, you will have access to 46 branches across Ontario.

    The Alterna Savings banking system is now available. See chart below for Contact Centre and Branch hours.

    Please be assured that we’ve worked very hard to keep the number of changes you will experience to a minimum; however, there are some changes you should know about, so you can prepare. Please carefully review the brochure to learn more about what will be different, and use the “Get Ready Checklist” to prepare for this exciting change.

    • Members aged 59 and over at time of conversion who held the Personal 1 Unlimited or Personal 1 Regular Chequing account will receive our GoodLife Account package.


    Incoming wire transfers received during the service interruptions will be re-routed to Alterna Savings.
    Outgoing wire transfers will be temporarily unavailable from June 29th to July 2nd.
