BACKGROUND

In 2013, I joined Aviso Wealth as an Investment Advisor. However, my experience in investment management dates back to 1994, having worked in roles such as Cage Operator, Advisor Assistant and Associate Advisor before becoming an Investment Advisor.

I was motivated to work in the industry because I’ve always been drawn to stocks and finance – right from an early age. I also enjoy working with people and helping them achieve their financial goals through professional, prudent management.

What allows me to be successful in helping members meet their objectives is my strong knowledge in a wide range of key areas, from markets and taxation to estate and trust optimization. I’m also adept at implementing effective risk mitigation techniques and working with members on goal planning. This deep financial background wouldn’t mean much if I couldn’t simplify and clearly explain complex financial concepts to my members. I believe my exceptional communication skills help me connect with members and keep them well informed about their financial future.

EDUCATION

My educational background includes a Diploma in Business Accounting from Centennial College. From an industry perspective, I’ve earned the Chartered Investment Manager, Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute, and Responsible Investment Specialist designations. I’ve also successfully completed the Life License Qualification Program and other industry courses.

COMMUNITY IMPACT

I give back to my community by coaching soccer at the recreational league level, and for many years have been active in fundraising for cancer research through the “Run for the Cure” annual event.
